Frequent electric vehicle fires on the market should be taken seriously as a cause!
Release Time:2024-04-19
Electric bicycles have now become a means of transportation for many people, but recently, news of electric bicycle spontaneous combustion explosions in various regions has frequently made headlines, causing consumers to worry about the quality and safety of electric bicycles.
What is the reason for the electric bike catching fire? Most of the reasons are due to short circuits, which can be divided into internal short circuits and external short circuits. Internal short circuits are caused by collisions, squeezing, or punctures, while external short circuits are caused by aging, damage, protection board failure, immersion, and other reasons.

How to prevent electric vehicles from catching fire?
1. Choose a good product: Whether it is an electric vehicle or a battery, qualified products should be selected to prevent the use of "three no" products, which are labeled with the product name, manufacturer's name, address, etc. in Chinese.
2. Tampering and modification are prohibited: Tampering speed, battery voltage, etc., especially battery voltage, can cause unnecessary overload to the original vehicle circuit. If the current exceeds the original design current, it is very easy to cause circuit heating, insulation aging, and even breakdown and short circuit.
3. Pay attention to inspection and maintenance: regularly check the position of wire harness clamps, wire harness conduit positions, handlebar rotation positions, and motor shaft positions. These positions are prone to physical insulation damage due to clamping force or friction, causing short circuits. If insulation skin damage occurs in these areas, it should be replaced as soon as possible.
4. Regularly check the charging and discharging ports: there should be no conductive foreign objects. If there is water, dust, etc., it should be cleaned as soon as possible.
