Many electric bicycles are charged at night, and sometimes for the convenience of charging, connecting wires privately can easily cause circuit failures, leading to fire accidents. Some people are willing to purchase low-priced lithium batteries or chargers online to replace damaged genuine lithium batteries or chargers. To address the risks associated with electric bicycle charging, the Space Cardan Electric Bicycles factory provides a scientific guide on how to prevent safety hazards during electric bicycle charging?

1. Use genuine chargers
According to the electric bicycle user manual, use a genuine charger to charge the lithium battery. At the same time, based on the size of the battery level, estimate the charging time (such as the approximate charging time of a lithium battery H=battery level AH/charger charging current A), scientifically arrange to observe whether it is fully charged after the expected time period, and immediately unplug the charger after it is fully charged.

2. Do not park electric bicycles on the stairway
Once an electric bicycle catches fire in the stairway, it will immediately block the fire safety and survival routes.

3. Do not charge inside the house
There are many flammable substances in the room, and once a safety accident occurs, it is very easy to cause major problems.

4. Regular inspection and maintenance
Electric bicycles should be inspected and maintained regularly, and professional maintenance personnel should be selected when common malfunctions occur that require maintenance. Circuit equipment should not be dismantled or disassembled without authorization.

5. Do not use low-cost batteries
The use of lithium batteries manufactured by professional electric bicycle manufacturers is crucial for the safety of electric bicycles. If the quality of the lithium battery is not up to standard, then the rechargeable battery may not be durable and the battery life may not be sufficient; In severe cases, it may even harm the personal safety of cyclists.
